 Brownies
and bar cookies are favorites this time of year because they
can be made with very little fuss, and still provide the same
tastes that you expect from your favorite cookie recipes. Chocolate
Mint Brownies at left, are rich in chocolatey flavor. The
same mint pieces that decorate the tops are in the brownie batter
and give a hint of minty flavor.
 Almost
any drop cookie dough can be made into bars and will disappear
just as quickly. This is a simple Chocolate
Chip Cookie recipe was baked in a 15x10x1 inch pan and we
used colored candies instead of chocolate chips.
