Garlic Cheddar Biscuits - Baking Mix


  • 3 cups Baking Mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes


Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.; Combine above ingredients and mix gently until dough just comes together. Place dough onto surface dusted with baking mix. Lightly dust dough to prevent sticking. Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a floured biscuit cutter and place on a greased baking pan so that the sides are touching.

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: May also be made as drop biscuits. Follow recipe above, except do not roll out dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

Yield: 12 to 16 biscuits
