Chicken Pot Pie
- 6 oz. instant chicken gravy mix
- 3 lbs. frozen mixed vegetables
- 3 lbs. cooked diced chicken
- 3 cups Clabber Girl Multi purpose Mix
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 2 cups buttermilk or milk
- 2 tsp. salt (optional)
Preheat conventional oven to 450 (convection oven 400) °. Mix gravy as directed on package; add mixed vegetables and chicken, reduce to low heat for five minutes. Pour mixture into a full size case pan. In large bowl, combine Clabber Girl Baking Mix, cheddar cheese and milk together until dough ball is formed. Place dough ball on floured surface and lightly dust with flour; roll out to desired thickness. Cut strips and place them one inch apart, horizontally and vertically on top of mixture. Bake for 35-40 minutes in conventional oven (20 to 25 minutes in convection oven) or until golden brown.
Yield: 28 - 2"x2" servings.
