Chocolate Chunk Coffeecake - Jar recipe
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon Rumford Baking Powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chocolate chunks
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Place ingredients into jar in order given; Place gift tag on jar with mixing instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together 1/2 cup softened butter, 3 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add coffeecake mix and stir well. Blend in 1 cup sour cream.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Makes 12 servings.
Use a wide mouth 1 quart jar for this recipe. Place layers in gently and press each layer down firmly.
