Hubby's Favorite Vegetable Beef Soup


One package beef short ribs (about 1-lb)
1-teaspoongarlic powder
1 teaspoonseasoned salt
1/2-teaspoon black pepper
1- teaspoon chopped garlic
Three 14.5-ounce cans beef broth
2 cups water
One bouillon cube
One 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes
One 16-ounce package frozen vegetables for soup


Sprinkle short ribs with combined garlic, seasoned salt and pepper.In a large stockpot, brown meat and garlic; drain grease. Add beef broth, water, bouillon and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is falling away from the bone. Stir in soup vegetables. Cook 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Makes 8 servings
