White Chocolate glaze for doughnuts
- 6 ounces white chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Heat the white chocolate on Low setting, in the microwave or in a bowl, over simmering water, just until melted, stirring to make it smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and let cool about five minutes.
With a spreading knife or small metal spatula, coat the top of each doughnut with a thick coat of white chocolate. Garnish with candy sprinkles, coconut or chopped nuts, if desired. Cool to set chocolate before serving.
