Warm Bacon Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 C. yellow onion, small diced
  • 1Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 7 strips of very crisp bacon
  • 1 1/2 C. water
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 Cup vinegar (red wine, rice, or white)
  • 2-2/3 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Clabber Girl Cornstarch

Instructions:

Sauté onion in 1 olive oil. Add crumbled bacon. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Serve warm over salad greens.
