Warm Bacon Vinaigrette


1/4 C. yellow onion, small diced
1Tablespoon Olive Oil
7 strips of very crisp bacon
1 1/2 C. water
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 Cup vinegar (red wine, rice, or white)
2-2/3 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 Tablespoons Clabber Girl Cornstarch


Sauté onion in 1 olive oil. Add crumbled bacon. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Serve warm over salad greens.
