Easy Pecan Shortbread
Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups margarine
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon Clabber Girl Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions:
Combine flour, sugar, Clabber Girl Baking Powder and salt. With electric mixer, beat margarine until fluffy. Add dry mixture slowly, blending with hands, and add pecans.
Pat into two 9-inch square cake pans. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 40 minutes; cool on wire racks. Cut into squares when completely cool.
