Maple Glazed Salmon Fillets

1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Clabber Girl Cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Garnish: Lemon wedges

In a large plastic bag, place all marinade ingredients; seal and mix well. Add salmon fillets, seal and refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning to combine at least once. This may be left in plastic bag in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl; set aside. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place salmon fillets, skin side down, on paper. Brush on half the glaze. Place in preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and brush on remaining glaze. Continue baking 10 more minutes or until fish reaches 145 degrees and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.

This recipe also works great for the grill. Follow all directions, except line grill with aluminum foil.
