Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1-1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
In a large bowl cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, Clabber Girl Baking Powder and salt. Pour into creamed mixture a little at a time and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and oats. With hands, shape into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork, making crisscross pattern on top of each cookie.
Bake in 350 degree F. oven for 9 minutes. When done, place cookies on wire racks to cool.
