Mint Tea and Honey
Makes 4 - 5 cups tea
- 4-5 cups brewed Darjeeling or Orange Pekoe Tea
- Mint leaves, honey, cardamom as desired
Brew the tea and then per cup, stir in some mint leaves, honey and some cardamom seeds.
The old and new testament are unanimous when it comes to mentions of ancient herbs and their usage for edibles and medicinals. Mint goes way back and is still lovely, when added to salads and soups but especially soothing in a cup of tea. If you have pretty little glass tea ware, this is the tea to serve them in.
