Honey-Apple Pancakes


  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil


In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, salt, apple pie spice, and baking soda. In a small bowl stir together egg, apple juice, honey, and oil; add to flour mixture all at once. Stir just till blended but still slightly lumpy.

For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot, lightly greased griddle or heavy skillet. Cook till pancakes are golden brown, turning to cook second sides when pancakes have bubbly surfaces and slightly dry edges. Makes about eight 4-inch pancakes.
