3 stick of REAL butter
salted or unsalted
3 cups of sugar
2 tbsp lemon extract
6 oz 7UP
3 cups of flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add lemon extract. Add eggs one at a time. Alternate 1 cup flour with 3oz 7up, making sure that you end with the last cup of flour.
Grease and flour a tube pan or use Baker's Joy. Bake in a 350 degree oven
1 hr and 10-20 minutes when the top of the cake looks done. DO NOT UNDERCOOK-1hr 15 minutes is minimum time.
*You might even want to set the temp just a smidge less than 350
