Chocolate Fudge Cake

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

Melt chocolate in top of double boiler; cool slightly. Sift together flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Add melted chocolate to creamed mixture, then alternately add flour mixture and milk. Add vanilla.

Pour into two greased and floured 8-inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
