Fruity Walnut Bars

These bars pack in honey, ginger, flaxseed and rolled oats to make a great breakfast or energy bar.

 

Ingredients

  • 25 lb. sugar
  • 25 lb. honey
  • 7 lb. molasses
  • 24 lb. plums (Dried Plum Puree)
  • 2 oz. Ginseng (Extract)
  • 13 1/2 lb. water
  • 6 lb. eggs
  • 47 1/2 lb. milk non-fat, dry
  • 18 1/2 lb. whole wheat flour
  • 9 1/2 oz. ginger (Ground)
  • 1 1/2 lb. spelt flour
  • 8 oz. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 8 oz. salt
  • 4 oz. baking soda
  • 22 1/2 lb. dried fruit (Blueberries and/or Raisins)
  • 59 1/2 lb. flax seeds
  • 20 1/2 lb. walnut halves
  • 15 lb. oats

Instructions

"Combine first 7 ingredients and mix until well blended. Set aside.

Sift next 7 ingredients and set aside.

Add next 4 ingredients to first mixture. Then add batter to flour mixture. Mix well.

Pour mixture 2 ins thick into bakingpans. Spread the mixture evenly. 

Bake at 345F for 20 to 25 minutes."
