Flan Chocolate Pot au Creme

Royal® Flan Mix can be mixed with chocolate chips for a delicious pot au crème flavor. Garnish this dish with whipped cream and cherries.



  • 1 gal. milk
  • 15.2 oz. Royal Flan Mix
  • 1362 g chocolate (Chips)


1.  Combine 1 pouch of Royal Flan Mix with the milk.

2.  Over a double boiler, melt the 3 pounds of chocolate chips. Remove from heat when melted and smooth.

3.  Cook Flan and milk mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full bubbling boil.

4.  Fold melted chocolate into Royal Flan Mixture. Remove from heat and pour into molds.

5.  Chill until set, (approximately 4 hours).

6.  Garnish with whipped cream and/or chocolate shavings or syrup.
