Warm Bacon Vinaigrette

Savory, full flavor over a big green salad is a wonderful way to start a meal!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. yellow onion small, diced
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 7 slice bacon very crisp
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. vinegar red wine, rice, or white
  • 2 2/3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. Clabber Girl Cornstarch

Instructions

Sauté onion in 1 olive oil. Add crumbled bacon. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Serve warm over salad greens.
