  • 1 1/2 c. spelt flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. raw sugar + 2 Tbsp.
  • 1/4 c. margarine buttery spread or firm coconut oil + 3 Tbsp.
  • 2 Tbsp. milk of your choice
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips (melted)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Stir together the spelt flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, sugar, buttery spread and milk. Make sure to break the buttery spread up well so little crumbs form.

Grease a mini muffin tin, then line with parchment circles at the bottom of each tin.

Press about a Tbsp. of dough into each, pressing it up the sides to form a cup. Smooth melted chocolate into each well. Divide remaining dough and press on top of each. Bake 13 minutes or until golden and firm. Let cool completely before removing.
