Halloween Chocolate Pudding

This pudding is perfect for filling a pie or serving straight up with Halloween garnishes. 


  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. Clabber Girl Cornstarch
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 3 1/2 c. milk


In a large saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch and cocoa. Stir well any lumps gone. In a small bowl combine eggs and milk; mix well, beating until smooth. Add to saucepan ingredients; turn heat to medium and cook, stirring continually until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in butter or margarine and vanilla extract.

Serve warm, or pour into serving dishes and chill.
