Tart Lemon Cream Frosting

Tart lemon cream frosting goes perfectly on a white, lemon, or chocolate cake!


  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. lemon rind
  • 3 c. powdered sugar sifted
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice


In medium mixing bowl, cream butter. Add lemon rind and blend well. Gradually add powdered sugar alternately with lemon juice, beating until smooth. Makes enough to frost 2 cake layers. From the Clabber Girl Recipe Book "RECIPES TO WARM THE HEART"
