Strawberry Pound Cake

This strawberry pound cake is baked in a Bundt pan for even cooking instead of the traditional loaf pan.


  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 lg. eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. strawberries chopped


Preheat oven to 275 F.
In a large bowl cream together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well. Add extracts and stir until combined. In a medium bowl combine flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and mix until well combined. Fold in strawberries.

Pour batter into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 275 F for 2 hours.
