Mini Mummy Pizza

Cute for a Halloween party with the family!


  • 1 pkg. Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. water warm
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. rolled quick oats
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Rumford Reduced Sodium Baking powder
  • 1/4 c. canola oil
  • cornmeal to sprinkle on baking sheets
  • 1 jar pizza sauce reduced sodium
  • 8 oz. mozzarella cheese sliced into strips, reduced sodium variety optional
  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese reduced sodium variety option
  • black olives sliced into rounds for the eyes


In a small bowl or measuring cup mix yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let stand 5 minutes for yeast to grow. Preheat oven to 400 F.

In a large bowl combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, oats, and Rumford Reduced Sodium Baking Powder. Add oil and yeast mixture. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough for 25 strokes. Cover let dough rest for 10 minutes.

Grease two cookie sheets and sprinkle lightly with cornmeal. Separate dough into four balls and pat or spread crust into circles on the pans, building up the outside edges. Spoon pizza sauce evenly over pizzas, and add sliced cheese in strips, giving the appearance of bandages as shown in the photo.

Add olives for eyes and bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until crust is browned and top is bubbly.
