These bars are perfect for parties calling for finger foods. The bars combine peanut butter and chocolate chips, but you could use any combination of butter and chips, such as almond butter and butterscotch chips.

  • 3 lg. eggs
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. brown sugar packed
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips

In a large mixing bowl, cram together eggs, margarine, vanilla, brown sugar and peanut butter. Add milk; set aside. In a separate bowl, sift flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder and baking soda. Combine ingredients until thoroughly mixed and stir in chocolate chips. Spread mixture into a greased 15x10-inch baking pan.

Bake at 350 F for 30 to 35 minutes.
Makes 12 to 15 cookie bars.
