Pumpkin Waffles

This recipe works well for belgian waffles. May top finished waffles with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg, or use regular syrup or maple syrup.


  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar packed
  • 2 1/4 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon ground
  • 1 tsp. ginger ground
  • 4 lg. eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. pumpkin canned
  • 6 tbsp. butter melted


In a medium bowl combine flour, brown sugar, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, soda and spices. In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, buttermilk, pumpkin and butter. Beat until smooth. Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Follow manufacturer's directions for cooking in waffle iron. Always preheat iron, and spray with cooking spray or oil.
