The basic and easy to follow Clabber Girl biscuit recipe is made so much better with the addition of Applewood Smoked Bacon.
Clabber Girl Baking Powder
In a medium bowl combine flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, and salt. Cut in butter (shortening) with pastry blender or 2 forks until mixture resembles coarse crumble. Add milk and bacon, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly (about 4 times).
Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness, cut biscuits with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake biscuits in a pre-heated 425 degree F. oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
