Vanilla Butter Cupcakes (Frosting)

  • 1 1/2 c. unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 3 3/4 c. confectioner's sugar
  • 2-4 tsp. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract


Beat butter until smooth and fluffy. Add half of the confectioners' sugar (1/2 c. at a time) and beat until incorporated. Add 2 tbsp. of the heavy cream and vanilla extract then mix well on medium speed. If mixture is too stiff, add more milk until the mixtures is creamy.
