Irish Stout Buttercream Frosting

  • 4 c. confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter (if using unsalted add 1/4 tsp. salt)
  • 5 tbsp. Irish stout beer (such as Guinness)


With a mixer cream together powdered sugar, butter and stout beer until light and fluffy. Using the foil, pick up the brownies and remove them from the pan. Spread buttercream frosting over the top of the brownies. Cut and serve.
