Heat the oven to 200 degrees F. and pre-heat the waffle iron.
Mix the flour, Clabber Girl Corn Starch, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, Clabber Girl Baking Soda and salt. Measure the yogurt, milk and vegetable oil in a glass measuring cup. Whisk in the yolk and set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg white to soft peaks. Sprinkle the sugar over the surface and continue to beat until the peaks are firm.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk mixture. Whisk just until mixed. Drop spoonfuls of the egg whites over the batter and fold in with a rubber spatula until incorporated.
Prepare the waffle iron with oil or non-stick cooking spray, if necessary. Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron (about 2/3 cup) and cook according to the manufacturers instructions.
To keep warm, set each waffle directly onto the surface of the oven rack - do not stack, place on a cookie sheet, and do not cover with a tea towel. Repeat with the remaining batter, keeping waffles warm in the oven. When they are all cooked, serve immediately!
