This recipe is from the Clabber Girl Recipe Book "Recipes to Warm the Heart" and was originally published in the 1985 Clabber Girl Cookbook. Time tested and simple to make, you may want to double the recipe as the biscuits won't last long around the dinner table!

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup Clabber Girl Master Mix

Place the Clabber Girl Master Mix in a mixing bowl and add the milk. Mix lightly, just until the flour is moistened. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead dough gently for 10 to 12 strokes. Roll or pat to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter, dipping the cutter into flour between cuts. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 450 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Serve warm. Makes 4 biscuits.
