Raspberry Muffins

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup raspberries fresh
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup milk cold


In a medium mixing bowl, mix flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, salt and sugar. In a small mixing bowl, blend egg, milk, and butter; add to the flour mixture, stirring just until lumpy. Add raspberries, stirring gently. Do not overmix. Spoon into greased muffin tins.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
