Submitted by:

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1/8 tsp. Basil (dried leaves)
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. rye flour
  • 1/3 c. green onions thinly sliced
  • 3/4 c. half and half

In a mixing bowl, mix flour, salt, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, basil leaves, rye flour and dried rosemary together thoroughly. Add melted butter, half & half and green onions; stir until moistened. Form a ball with the dough and lightly dust with flour. Place on greased baking sheet and mold into a 12-inch wide round shape. With a sharp knife, score top slightly, 1/4-inch deep, into 8 wedges. Do not cut completely through the dough.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until browned.
