  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. cheddar cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 8 tbsp. butter cold and cut into small bits
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. chives chopped finely
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. milk

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and place the oven rack in the middle position. Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add the flour, baking powder, granulated sugar and kosher salt to a food processor and pulse several times to combine. Add the cold butter and pulse several more times to incorporate. It should look like coarse corn meal.

Move the contents of the food processor to a large bowl and stir in the cheddar cheese and chives until they're evenly distributed. Gently fold in the sour cream and milk until just combined.

Use a 2 tablespoon (1/8 cup) cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto the prepared sheet.

Bake for 11-14 minutes until lightly browned on top. Serve warm.
