Dry rubbed sage is the secret ingredient that makes these buttermilk biscuits really tasty. They are perfect for Thanksgiving holidays, or dinners where you want something a little different.

  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Soda
  • 6 tbsp. butter cold and cut into bits
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. sage
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Mix together dry ingredients; cut in butter. Add buttermilk. On floured surface, work dough with fingertips to form a rectangle. Cut into 2-inch biscuits.

Bake on ungreased sheet at 425 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes.
