We've combined two of your favorite flavors, peanut butter and chocolate, in these delightful cookies. They're a twist on the average peanut butter cris-cross. The mini chocolate chips work really well in this recipe, but you can use the regular size too.

  • 1/2 c. butter softened
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 c, quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, Clabber Girl Baking Soda, Clabber Girl Baking Powder and salt. Pour into creamed mixture a little at a time and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and oats. With hands, shape into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork, making crisscross pattern on top of each cookie.

Bake in 350 degrees F. oven for 9 minutes. When done, place cookies on wire racks to cool.
