Submitted by: Jen Perry

This hot chocolate mix combines baker's chocolate squares along with dutch processed cocoa for an extra chocolately beverage. Top the hot chocolate with our honey vanilla marshmallow kisses, whipped topping and cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. baker's chocolate unsweetened
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered milk
  • 1/2 c. Dutch process (European-style) cocoa
  • 1 tsp. powdered vanilla optional
  • 3 tsp. Clabber Girl Cornstarch
  • whipped topping optional
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • cinnamon optional

Instructions

Blend all the ingredients in a food processor. Makes about 4 cups of dry hot chocolate mix. Use 2 tbsp. mix per 4 oz. boiling hot water. It's important to use boiling water, not just hot tap water as the water has to be hot enough to melt the baker's chocolate. Let the mix sit for one minute, then stir the beverage to be sure all of the chocolate is melted. Top with honey vanilla marshmallow kisses, whipped topping and cinnamon.
